Sprouted Green Gram Dosa (Healthy Moong Dal Dosa)

A nutritious, no-ferment dosa made from sprouted green gram (moong dal), rava and cumin. Serve with coconut or tomato chutney.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups green gram dal moong
  • 1/2 cup rava
  • 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
  • salt to taste
  • oil for cooking

Method
 

  1. Soak the dal in water for 6 hours and drain.
  2. Wrap it in a clean, damp cloth and leave for another 6 hours to sprout.
  3. Grind well with the rava, cumin seeds and salt.
  4. Make dosas on a hot tawa.
  5. Serve with coconut or tomato chutney.
