Curd Bread (No-Cook Chilled Bread in Spiced Curd)

A cool, no-cook snack of soft bread soaked in lightly sweetened curd, topped with banana, roasted cumin and black pepper. Ready in 10 minutes.

Ingredients
  

  • 6 slices soft bread
  • 2 cups curd
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tbsp ripe banana small pieces
  • 1/4 tsp roasted cumin powder
  • 1/4 tsp pepper powder

Method
 

  1. Cut each slice of bread into four and arrange in a dish.
  2. Stir the sugar and salt into the curd.
  3. Pour the curd over the bread, a little at a time.
  4. Top with the banana, cumin powder and pepper.
  5. Chill in the fridge for a few minutes and serve.
